Any deposit / payment received by Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc towards a travel package or travel service constitutes full knowledge and acceptance of all terms and conditions. Each person making reservation for or participating in tours / services as described in this website or by e-mail, understands and agrees to all terms, conditions and limitation set forth herein.

DISCLAIMER:

Though arranged with great care, information shown in the Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience's website is for reference purposes only. We do not accept any liabilities for any changes, errors or omissions nor for any resultant and consequential charges or liabilities incurred by any organization or individual.

VISAS AND DOCUMENTATION:

Each traveler must have a valid passport with at least 6 months minimum remaining on validity. The traveler is responsible for obtaining information about entry requirements and the necessary visas to enter the countries to which they are traveling.

INSURANCE:

Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc does not provide insurance for travelers / passengers due to loss on the trip herein. Travelers are advised to obtain their own travel insurance for health, baggage loss or flight cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances while travelling. Insurance is also recommended to provide coverage to passengers if refunds pursuant to the final payment and cancellation clause below are unavailable due to the terms of that clause.

NOT INCLUDED IN RATES:

Tips to guides, hotel staff etc are not included in the package costs and are at your own discretion. Additional taxes, security charges or any other fees collected by governments, airports, airlines and other entities are not included unless specifically listed as included features. The following is a list of some major items not included in the rates: room service charges, items not on portions of menus reserve for Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc customers, laundry, beverages, alcoholic and otherwise, items of a personal nature, airport departure taxes and any other items not specifically listed in the package rates includes section, or unless otherwise stipulated.

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:

You shall comply with instructions of any representative of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc, tour guide or local ground operator at all times. No client shall be accepted or permitted to continue on a tour while their status or mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc, tour guide or local ground operator, such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves or make themselves objectionable to other safari / tour clients or become a hazard to themselves or other safari / tour clients and Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc tours will not be responsible for expenses by such persons precluded from completing the tour for this reason.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT:

1. Reservations should be made in writing by contacting Garden Route Golf & Safari Experiences cc, via e-mail, fax or telephone followed up by a written request.
2. Tours / safaris are booked and confirmed only on receipt of a 30% advance deposit of the total amount. This advance payment is due within seven (7) days of making the reservation. There shall be no binding contract until the advance payment has been received by Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc. Failure to remit your advance deposit on time will result in an automatic change of status of any confirmed space to a provisional basis and the possible inability to reinstate your reservation. When Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc receives your advance deposit, a booking reference number will be assigned and noted on your original invoice. This number shall be deemed to constitute acceptance and confirmation of your booking. Your wire transfer authority will act as your receipt. The rates at the time of booking may have changed after the quotation. In this case the rates at the time of booking will be honoured. Please confirm the correct rate when booking. Payment can be made with a credit card (VISA or MASTER) or bank transfer to our account below.
3. After confirming the receipt of payment, Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc shall send you the confirmation document via e-mail or fax. Please double check the contents (Hotel, Names, Travelling Dates, Type of Room etc)
4. Any cancellation of a booking must be made in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc. Cancellation charges shall apply as follows:

5. Any request to amend or change a booking once it has been confirmed may be accommodated subject to availability, and the following charges shall apply:

No refunds are given (a) for lost travel time or substitution of facilities, (b) for itineraries amended after departure, (c) for circumstances arising beyond the control of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc, necessitation alternative arrangements being made to ensure the safety and / or further participation and enjoyment of your tour, (d) if you do not appear for any accommodation, service, sightseeing or trip segment without notifying Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc, or (e) if you leave your tour after it has begun, or miss any scheduled sightseeing, activities, meals or accommodations.

LIABILITY:

1. Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc shall not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained on a package sold by Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc which is not due to the gross negligence of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc, its officers, employees, authorized representatives or agents whomsoever.
2. FORCE MAJEURE -

• "Force Majeure" means, in relation to Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc, any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc (including, but without limitation, acts of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, war or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance, or requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions or other untoward occurrences).
• If Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc is affected by Force Jameure it shall forthwith notify you of the nature and extent thereof.
• Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc shall not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditins or otherwise be liable to you, by reason of delay in performance, or by non-performance, of any of its obligations hereunder to the extent that any such delay or non-performance is due to any Force Majeure.
• If Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc is affected by Force Majeure it shall be entitled to, and may in its sole and absolute discretion, vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement in relation to the trip. Payment of any refund by Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc to you as a result of the non-performance of any of the obligations of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc hereunder shall remain in its sole and absolute discretion, although Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc shall use its reasonable endeavors to reimburse you where possible.
• Regarding civil unrest, once Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc has investigated the prevailing situation as it deems fit, it shall remain in the sole discretion of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc whether to proceed with the trip. You may in such circumstances cancel the trip. However, if, after having made all reasonable and proper enquiries, Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc is of the opinion that the trip may proceed, no refund will be payable to you.

OTHER LIABILITIES - Tour services included but not limited to guide services, hotel accommodations, meals and other services are furnished by third parties who are independent and do not act for or on behalf of Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc and with whom Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc has no relationship as joint venture or otherwise. Therefore Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc shall not be liable or responsible in any way whatsoever for any inconvenience, loss, damage or injury arising out of or in connection with such tour services, whether same shall be the result of changes in hotel accommodations, food, baggage handling, tour guiding or any other matter related thereto. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne to the traveler. Each passenger waives any claim against Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc for any delay, inconvenience or damage, loss of property or baggage or injury to or death of persons due to the acts or omissions of said third parties.

NOTICE OF ENFORCEABILITY

Please remember, when you book a travel related services with Garden Route Golf & Safari Experience cc you are entering into a binding agreement that assumes all terms and conditions are fully understood as stated in this document
